All of these images are created using traditional negatives. Because of the size of the negatives, they are then scanned to be printed. Some of these negatives are much larger than 10 inches and so can't be printed in a darkroom.Traditional darkroom techniques limit the maximum negative size to 10 inches or the negative must be contact printed which is size limiting.
